We all have to clean our toilets but some of us are getting more concerned about what we put down them!

This is a really simple recipe for toilet block fizzes. You just pop one or two in the toilet pan leave them for a bit to fizz away then scrub, simple.

Making them is really simple too. I have put together this short video to show you how its done.

Formular

67g Bicarbonate of soda
33g citric acid
8 drops of lemon essential oil
10-15 sprays of water

Mix all the dry ingredients into a bowl then add your chosen essential oil. I use lemon as I like that smell in the bathroom.

Push the dry ingredients down into ice cube moulds, you can use other moulds if you like. The silicone ones make it easier to get them out when the blocks are dry.

Once all the dry ingredients is pushed down, spray water over the top. They will start to fizz a bit but don’t worry about that. Make sure you have added enough water so it soaks to the bottom but not too much that they lose all their fizz.

Put in a dry place for 24 hours before removing from the moulds. I usually pop them in the airing cupboard.
