Simplicity is the key when it comes to my beauty regime. I like to have products that are quick and easy to use, which is why I love this hydrating facial toner in the evening. It’s got all the ingredients to remove my make up but also give my face a quick cleanse.
The Ingredients
Aloe Vera is a natural plant product that is great for it’s soothing, calming and moisturising properties.
Witch Hazel is a natural astringent which is great for removing makeup, grime and clearing pores.
Vegetable Glycerine helps pull all the ingredients together and can help maintain natural skin balance.
Calendula Oil is a lovely natural product that is rich in antioxidants which can also reduce swelling
Calendula Oil, Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera all have anti-inflammatory properties.
Formula
18g Vegetable Glycerine
31g Witch Hazel
31g Aloe Vera Gel
37g Distilled/Rose Water
30g Calendula Oil
8 drops Lavender Essential Oil
Put all the ingredients into a bottle and shake.
It can take up to 46 hours for all the ingredients to combine so just give it a quick shake every now and again.
As this contains water you must use a broad spectrum preservative. Water can easily carry bacteria. Never use tap water.
